I’ve always been into tropical landscapes, possibly because they are so far from British native style. They seem to transport you, taking you somewhere otherworldly where you can escape normal urban vistas. They also make me think of holiday times and trips yet to take place.
An outdoor bathroom isn’t really a reality in Bristol but a lush, tropical bedroom is. I put some visuals together for a friend recently based around moody pacific ocean blues and dark greens but may well end up adopting them for our own home (if I can talk my boyfriend into it). Meanwhile I plan to keep updating the ideas board until it’s perfect.
