Expansive living area with rural outlook

One of our early projects was to help a couple who were scratching their heads around what to do with their large living area.  Overlooking countryside and with a large terrace, the room also had to suit 2 x large dogs who also live there.

We decided to frame the opening to the terrace by painting it a dark blue and the walls and ceiling a colour which matches a pale blue-grey British sky which defined it really well. Layout-wise a U-shaped sofa was used to use the floor space well and also look to the outside.  We also incorporated a little seating next to a window with a particularly lovely view, a dining area, a fab study area and a very comfortable TV nook.

It was a lovely project, taking a lead from existing client preferences, creating a big picture which pulled everything together and set the perfect scene.
